Yes, Five Star Charters welcomes children ages 6 months and up.

November through May is busy in The Cayman Islands. We recommend booking your cruise at least 30 days ahead of your visit, if not sooner.

A USD$500 deposit is required. Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to your charter date. The balance of your charter will be collected upon return to the marina. Tips may be made by cash or credit. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Five Star Charters reserves the right to cancel charters due to weather conditions. Refunds will be provided in the case of inclement weather.

No, gratuity is not included in the price of your cruise. If you would like to tip our crew, the customary amount is 15-20% of the charter price.

We can comfortably fit 12 guests but can accommodate up to 16 customers at a time.

We offer jet skiing, paddle boarding, sub-wing, tubing, seascooters, and wakeboarding.  Additionally, you can snorkel at some of the most stunning reefs and wrecks in the world, swim with the stingrays at the Stingray Sandbar and hold live starfish at Starfish Point.  Please note that all activities are weather dependent.

Cruise times vary based on speed, but on average, cruise times to destinations are:

• Stingray Sandbar - 30 minute slow cruise
• Rum Point - 40 minute slow cruise
• Starfish Point - 40 minute slow cruise
• Kaibo - 45 minute slow cruise
• Kittiwake on Seven Mile Beach - 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minute fast cruise

Each Five Star cruise includes gourmet hors d'oeuvres, Welcome Aboard Five Star Charters Signature cocktail and cold soft drinks. Our unlimited homemade rum punch, made with fresh squeezed juices, is also included on every half- and full-day cruise. Non-alcoholic versions of our cocktail and rum punch are available upon request.

Five Star cruises include hors d'oeuvres such as: plantain chips and dip, frozen fruit kebabs, prosciutto wrapped breadsticks, Cayman rum cake slices, and watermelon and feta on-a-stick (items may vary based on availability and preferences).

Five Star Charters is happy to add other food and beverage selections for an additional fee at your request.

We are happy to accommodate your needs. You can bring your own food, snacks and drinks, or we can bring additional food and drinks for you! While we provide hors d'oeuvres with every cruise, lunch is not included. We are happy to add this to your package upon request and can provide you with options and pricing.

All you need is a bathing suit and a change of clothes, if you like, and we’ve got the rest covered: luxurious beach towels, sunscreen, sun gear, snorkeling gear, Jet Ski, light snacks, and cold drinks.

We request that you not bring spray sunscreen on your cruise, as it is particularly harmful to the environment, especially our beautiful reefs and marine life. Five Star Charters happily provides environmentally friendly sunscreen onboard for your use, or you may bring your own lotion, cream or gel sunscreen.

Yes, we have all of the gear needed for snorkeling on the boat.

Five Star Charters does not allow spray sunscreen on board because it is particularly harmful to the environment as well as the boat and equipment. We provide environmentally friendly sunscreen onboard for your use instead, or you may bring your own lotion, cream or gel sunscreen.

Yes, we have life jackets on the boat for all sizes, including infant and other children's sizes.
